[BRIEFING.COM] Stocks are moving off session lows. The S&P 500 trades fractionally higher now and the Nasdaq Composite sports a 0.2% gain.
Upside moves coincided with today's $22 billion 30-yr bond reopening, which was met with solid demand, drawing in buying activity in Treasuries. The 10-yr note yield is down seven basis points to 4.23%.
Still, declining issues have a 2-to-1 lead over advancing issues at both the NYSE and at the Nasdaq.
