[BRIEFING.COM] The Dow Jones Industrial Average (-0.35%) is today's worst-performing major average, having traded mostly sideways over the prior half hour.
Still, a look inside the DJIA shows that Travelers (TRV 224.17, -6.42, -2.78%), American Express (AXP 220.05, -4.06, -1.81%), and Visa (V 275.81, -1.95, -0.70%) are underperforming.
Meanwhile, Cisco (CSCO 50.11, +1.87, +3.88%) is today's top gain getter.
YTD gains in the DJIA now stand at +2.83%.
Elsewhere, the $58 billion 3-yr note auction was met with weak demand. The high yield of 4.548% tailed the when-issued yield of 4.528% by two basis points. In turn, the 2.50 bid-to-cover ratio, which is a good gauge of dollar demand, was below the prior 12-auction average of 2.69.
