[BRIEFING.COM] There wasn't much up or down movement at the index-level over the last half hour.
More S&P 500 sectors moved lower, however, leading the industrials (-0.03%), consumer staples (-0.2%), and financials (-0.4%) sectors to join the utilities (-0.9%) and energy (-1.7%) sectors in negative territory.
Still, market breadth reflects a positive bias under the index surface driving today's action. Advancers lead decliners by a 2-to-1 margin at the NYSE and by a 3-to-2 margin at the Nasdaq.
