TSLA shares under pressure amid some negative headlines

Tesla (TSLA 349.65, -7.52, -2.1%) shares have been under pressure through the entire session after CEO Elon Musk's pay package was again rejected by a Delaware judge, according to Bloomberg, and after China produced electric vehicle sales fell 4.3% in November, according to Reuters.

This price action has contributed to the loss in the S&P 500 consumer discretionary sector (-0.2%).

Casino stocks are the worst performers in the consumer discretionary sector. Caesar's Entertainment (CZR 37.11, -1.89, -4.8%) and MGM Resorts (MGM 36.93, -1.36, -3.6%) are the biggest laggards from the space.
