[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (+0.1%) and Nasdaq Composite (+0.1%) moved slightly higher in recent action.
Upside moves coincided with NVIDIA (NVDA 135.08, +4.65, +3.6%) extending its opening gain and with Meta Platforms (META 622.52, +3.15, +0.5%) moving into positive territory. Shares had been down as much as 0.4%.
There was no specific catalyst to account for the improvement, so buying on weakness is a likely cause after recent losses in the aforementioned names.
