[BRIEFING.COM] The market remains near session highs. The S&P 500 sports a 1.1% gain.
Upside moves today reflect relief that some unknowns about the election will be answered before trading begins tomorrow. The market hasn't seemed bothered by the idea that some unknowns may remain in play due to the extended time it takes in some states to count votes for House races and if any recounts are necessary.
The Treasury market trades slightly lower in front of election results. The 10-yr yield is at 4.35% and the 2-yr yield is at 4.23%.
