[BRIEFING.COM] The major indices continue to trade up. The S&P 500 sports a 0.5% gain and the Russell 2000 shows a 0.5% gain.
The small cap index has outperformed other indices this week, sitting on a 1.3% gain. The S&P 500 shows a 1.0% gain this week.
On the flip side, large-cap technology stocks are also favored so far today. NVIDIA (NVDA 139.02, +3.74, +2.8%) and Apple (AAPL 235.68, +0.75, +0.3%) are standouts in that respect while Microsoft (MSFT 422.07, -0.92, -0.2%) trails after news that it is facing a broad FTC investigation, according to Bloomberg.
