[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (+0.4%) and Nasdaq Composite (+0.7%) continue to trade off session highs.
Many names are participating in today's advance, evidenced by positive market breadth. Advancers lead decliners by a roughly 7-to-2 margin at the NYSE and at the Nasdaq. Eight of the 11 S&P 500 sectors are higher and 23 of the 30 Dow components trade up.
Sherwin-Williams (SHW 398.90, +10.60, +2.7%) and NIKE (NKE 79.24, +1.84, +2.4%) lead DJIA components while NVIDIA (NVDA 138.33, -3.65, -2.6%) shows the largest decline.
