Stock Market Update

The S&P 500 futures are up 26 points and are trading 0.2% above fair value, the Nasdaq 100 futures are up 97 points and are trading 0.1% above fair value, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average futures are up 193 points and are trading 0.3% above fair value.

Weekly initial jobless claims totaled 213,000 (Briefing.com consensus 221,000) and last week's total was revised to 219,000 (from 217,000). Continuing claims came in at 1.908 million and last week's total was revised to 1.872 million (from 1.873 million).

The Philadelphia Fed Index dropped to -5.5 in November (Briefing.com consensus 7.0) from 10.3 in October.
