Stock Market Update

[BRIEFING.COM] Broad selling has continued over the last half hour. The Nasdaq Composite moved higher, though, trading fractionally above its prior close. 

The improvement in the Nasdaq coincided with some mega caps trading higher. Apple (AAPL 228.76, +0.73, +0.3%), NVIDIA (NVDA 142.82, +2.66, +1.9%), and Tesla (TSLA 343.64, +4.91, +1.5%) are standouts in that respect. 

Market breadth reflects a solid negative skew under the index surface. Decliners lead advancers by a 2-to-1 margin at the NYSE and by a 4-to-3 margin at the Nasdaq.
