[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 trades 1.1% lower and the Dow Jones Industrial Average sports a 0.6% decline.
Mega caps and semiconductor stocks have extended losses, but the broader equity market is holding up okay. The Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight ETF (RSP) shows a 0.7% decline.
Treasury yields moved lower after spiking initially in response to this morning's economic data. The 10-yr yield hit 4.50% earlier, but sits at 4.47% now. The 2-yr yield hit 4.37% earlier, but sits at 4.32% now.
