Stock Market Update

Some names that have an outsized impact on index losses include Apple (AAPL 225.09, -3.13, -1.4%), Microsoft (MSFT 414.70, -12.23, -2.9%), NVIDIA (NVDA 141.39, -5.37, -3.7%), and Amazon.com (AMZN 202.40, -9.07, -4.3%), which comprise about 25% of the S&P 500 in terms of market cap.

There is some buying interest in the market, mostly concentrated to names related to utilities, financials, and real estate. These are the only S&P 500 sectors in the green.
