[BRIEFING.COM] The market settled into a sideways flow. The S&P 500 sports a 0.2% gain and the Dow Jones Industrial Average trades 0.4% higher.
Losses in the mega cap space are still a limiting factor for the broader equity market. The communication services (-0.4%) and information technology (-0.2%) sectors are the worst performers thus far, weighed down by their largest constituents.
On the flip side, seven sectors trade higher.
