[BRIEFING.COM] The major indices all moved lower over the last half hour. The S&P 500 sports a 0.2% decline and the Dow Jones Industrial Average shows a 0.3% loss.
20 of the 30 Dow components are lower and only two S&P 500 sectors remain in positive territory. The information technology (+0.3%) and consumer staples (+0.3%) sectors have maintained gains while the materials (-1.5%), utilities (-0.9%), and consumer discretionary (-0.8%) sectors build on initial losses.
The equal-weighted S&P 500 trades 0.6% lower.
