Bank stocks trade down after post-election surge
Dow -252.78 at 44040.35, Nasdaq -36.09 at 19262.67, S&P -19.70 at 5981.66

[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 shows a 20 point decline at this point and the Nasdaq Composite trade about 40 points lower.

Bank stocks, which have surged after the election, are taking a breather today. The SPDR S&P Bank ETF (KBE) shows a 0.4% decline and the SPDR S&P Regional Banking ETF (KRE) trades 0.5% lower. 

The S&P 500 financial sector shows a 0.4% decline.
