Chevron (CVX 153.72, +4.88, +3.3%) and Exxon Mobil (XOM 116.81, +0.04, +0.03%) trade higher in response to earnings news. This price action has boosted the S&P 500 energy sector, which trades 0.2% higher.
The price action in oil has also supported upside moves in oil-related names. WTI crude oil futures are 1.2% higher at $70.11/bbl.
