[BRIEFING.COM] The Dow Jones Industrial Average (+0.96%) is atop the standings on Wednesday afternoon.
A look inside the DJIA shows that IBM (IBM 234.53, +5.91, +2.59%), Nike (NKE), and Honeywell (HON 211.71, +4.71, +2.28%) host decent gains.
Meanwhile, Boeing (BA 151.10, -3.55, -2.30%) is underperforming.
The DJIA is now about +0.31% higher on the week.
Elsewhere, treasury yields are sitting at their highs for the session following the $39 billion 10-yr note auction that saw the high yield of 4.066% slightly tail the when-issued yield of 4.062% on healthy interest from indirect bidders. The 2.48 bid-to-cover ratio was slightly less than the prior 12-auction average. Stocks have taken this news in stride and are little changed since the results were released at 1:00 p.m. ET. The FOMC Minutes for the September 17-18 meeting will be released at 2:00 p.m. ET.
