[BRIEFING.COM] The Nasdaq Composite and S&P 500 each hit fresh session highs over the last half hour. Many stock have participated in the recent move, leading the Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight ETF (RSP) to trade near its high of the day.
Market breadth is mixed despite gains in most major indices. Decliners are roughly even with advancers at the NYSE while advancers lead decliners by an 11-to-10 margin at the Nasdaq.
Elsewhere, Treasury yields are holding steady after the sharp increase in recent weeks. The 10-yr yield is unchanged from yesterday at 4.03% and the 2-yr yield is down three basis points to 3.97%.
