A look inside the DJIA shows that JPMorgan Chase (JPM 210.41, +6.43, +3.15%), Salesforce (CRM 286.56, +5.65, +2.01%), and Amazon (AMZN 185.60, +3.64, +2.00%) hold gains atop the average.
Meanwhile, Verizon (VZ 44.09, -0.43, -0.97%) is lagging.
The DJIA is on pace to end -0.18% lower this week.
Elsewhere, at the top of the hour, Baker Hughes (BKR 37.85, +0.30, +0.80%) announced a weekly U.S. rotary rig count of 585, -2 w/w and -34 yr/yr.
