[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 was trading up as much as 0.8% at its best level, but sports a 0.5% gain now.
Some early buyer enthusiasm has dissipated in the equity market. Market breadth is still positive, but margins have narrowed compared to earlier in the session. Advancers lead decliners by a nearly 2-to-1 margin at the NYSE and by a 5-to-2 margin at the Nasdaq shortly after the open. Now, advancers have a 3-to-2 lead over decliners at the NYSE and a 2-to-1 lead at the Nasdaq.
Separately, Treasuries remain near intraday high yields. The 10-yr yield sits at 3.95%.
