Stocks maintain gains as yields rise

[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (+0.4%) and Nasdaq Composite (+0.6%) moved off session highs as Treasury yields climbed.
The 10-yr yield moved from 4.23% to 4.28% and the 2-yr yield moved from 4.10% to 4.14%.
Still, many stocks have maintained gains. Ten of the 11 S&P 500 sectors are higher and 23 of the 30 Dow components are higher. The Dow Jones Industrial Average sports a 0.6% gain while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite each trade 0.4% higher.
