DJIA hits session lows; McDonald's, Goldman Sachs drag average down
Dow -177.40 at 42196.96, Nasdaq +171.02 at 18586.50, S&P +14.15 at 5824.01

[BRIEFING.COM] The Dow Jones Industrial Average (-0.42%) is down more than 177 points on Friday afternoon, touching session lows over the last half hour.

A look inside the DJIA shows that McDonald's (MCD 293.57, -8.01, -2.66%), Goldman Sachs (GS 513.67, -10.83, -2.06%), and Travelers (TRV 251.84, -4.58, -1.79%) are underperforming.

Meanwhile, Intel (INTC 23.01, +0.67, +3.00%) is atop the average.

The DJIA is now down more than 1K points on the week, or about -2.49%.

Elsewhere, at the top of the hour, Baker Hughes (BKR 37.41, +0.63, +1.71%) announced a weekly U.S. rotary rig count of 585, flat w/w and -40 yr/yr.
