Stock Market Update

The S&P 500 futures are up 28 points and are trading 0.5% above fair value, the Nasdaq 100 futures are up 180 points and are trading 1.0% above fair value, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average futures are down 63 points and are trading 0.1% below fair value.

Weekly initial jobless claims totaled 227,000 (Briefing.com consensus 246,000) and last week's total was 242,000 (revised from 241,000). Continuing claims came in at 1.897 million and last week's total was revised to 1.869 million (from 1.867 million).
