Stock Market Update

[BRIEFING.COM] The Russell 2000 continues to underperform today, showing a 0.5% decline. The market-cap weighted S&P 500 trades up 0.3% and the equal-weighted S&P 500 shows a 0.1% decline. 

More S&P 500 sectors trade higher now compared to earlier. The consumer discretionary (+0.1%) and energy (+0.1%) sectors joined the information technology (+1.2%) and financial (+0.6%) sectors in positive territory.

On the flip side, the real estate (-0.6%) and health care (-0.5%) sectors trade at the bottom of lineup, but losses are fairly limited.
