[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (+0.6%) and Nasdaq Composite (+0.8%) sits near session highs while the Dow Jones Industrial Average and Russell 2000 trade flattish.
Growth stocks, mega caps, and semiconductor-related names extended gains over the last half hour. The Russell 3000 Growth Index trades 0.9% higher, the Vanguard Mega Cap Growth ETF (MGK) shows a 1.0% gain, and the PHLX Semiconductor Index (SOX) is 1.4% above its prior close.
Many other stocks are participating in upside moves, too. The Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight ETF (RSP) trade 0.2% higher.
