The financial sector (+0.5%) is a top performer so far in front of earnings results from some sector components before Tuesday's open. Bank of America (BAC 41.93, -0.01, -0.04%) and Goldman Sachs (GS 520.80, +4.50, +0.9%) are among the names reporting earnings.
The SPDR S&P Bank ETF (KBE) sports a 0.8% gain and the SPDR S&P Regional Banking ETF (KRE) trades 0.7% higher.
