Semiconductor stocks continue to build on gains. The PHLX Semiconductor Index (SOX) shows a 0.7% gain now. This price action has also limited downside moves in the S&P 500 information technology sector, which trades fractionally lower due to losses in Apple (AAPL 96, -1.06, -0.5%), Microsoft (MSFT 415.39, -0.38, -0.1%), and Broadcom (AVGO 181.12, -4.97, -2.5%).
NVIDIA (NVDA 134.85, +0.05, +0.04) sports a slim gain.
