Semiconductor stocks are a weak pocket in the market after outperforming recently. The PHLX Semiconductor Index is down 1.8%.
Oil price are inching towards the highs of the day with WTI crude oil futures up 6.2% to $80.37/bbl. The S&P 500 energy sector remains in first place by a wide margin, up 4.4%.
