SCALP Scalp Trader: LABD Swing Long -- I'm putting on a 1/2 Swing Long position in LABD in the Spec Portfolio.. This market is starting to make me nervous, so want to have some Short exposure. (13.96 +0.28)
Biotech has gone absolutely vertical over the past week and I think it could be due for some profit-taking. LABD is the 3x Inverse Biotech ETF. I'm risking about 2 pts on this swing trade.

SCALP ScalpTrader Spec Portfolio Update -- Locking in profits on 1/2 of the LABD swing position for +21%. (16.92 +1.71)
• Biotechs are under pressure on Trump comments in a Time magazine interview that he will lower drug prices.
• I don't think he will make a priority of going after drug companies and I think that Biotech may bounce back off early lows.
• As a result, I'm using this run higher in LABD (the 3x Short Biotech ETF) to take some profits.
• Moving stops to the $13.96 entry price.

SCALP Scalp Trader: Spec Portfolio Update -- Locking in profits on another 1/4 of LABD swing position for +28%; stops on remaining 1/4 at $13.96 entry price (17.88 -1.00)
As of this morning, position was up 35%, but I got a little greedy and didn't trim when it was at the morning highs. I was looking for a push toward $20.00.

Entered the 3x Short Biotech position on Nov 16 following the vertical move in Biotech in reaction to the U.S. presidential election. While my portfolio participated very nicely in the post-election rally, I thought certain groups were getting overheated and were due for a pullback. Link to original entry.
