Looking over at the energy space...
The American Petroleum Institute (API) released its weekly oil storage data report at 4:30pm ET today.
The agency reported a build of 1.099 million barrels of crude oil, for the week ending April 20 vs a draw of 1.047 million last week. Separately, the API reported gasoline showed a draw of 2.72 million barrels and distillates showed a draw of 1.91 million barrels. Cushing draw of -0.93 million.
Following the API data, oil prices mostly showed a muted reaction.
June WTI crude oil futures fell from $67.81/barrel to $67.64/barrel immediately following the data and are now down $0.94 at $67.70/barrel.
Tomorrow morning, the Department of Energy's research arm the Energy Information Administration (EIA) will release its own weekly oil storage data.
