NVIDIA (NVDA 450.61, +17.62, +4.1%), which had its its price target raised to $780 from $600 at HSBC ahead of its earnings report after Wednesday's close, and Tesla (TSLA 225.14, +9.65, +4.5%) are providing some support to the broader market and are helping to drive the outperformance of the Nasdaq (+0.4%).
NVDA and TSLA are also contributing to the 0.4% gain in the Vanguard Mega Cap Growth ETF (MGK). The Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight ETF (RSP), meanwhile, trades down 0.5% and the market-cap weighted S&P 500 sports a 0.1% loss.
