[BRIEFING.COM] The stock market took a sharp turn lower recently.
Many mega cap stocks have maintained gains. The Vanguard Mega Cap Growth ETF (MGK) is up 0.2% versus a 0.2% loss in the Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight ETF (RSP).
Market internals reflect the fairly sharp reversal recently. Roughly 30 minutes ago, advancers led decliners by a roughly 3-to-2 margin at both the NYSE and the Nasdaq. Now, decliners have the lead at both the NYSE and the Nasdaq.
The downside moves coincided with the U.S. Dollar Index taking a turn higher, up 0.5% to 102.15.
