Retailer struggling in pre-market action

[BRIEFING.COM] S&P futures vs fair value: -40.20. Nasdaq futures vs fair value: -159.80.

The futures for the major indices haven't moved much recently. The S&P 500 futures are down 40 points and are trading 1.0% below fair value while the Nasdaq 100 futures are down 160 points and are trading 1.3% below fair value.

The retailers are struggling in pre-market action. Walmart (WMT 121.15, 3.72, -2.9%) is down 3.0% in solidarity with Target (TGT 147.50, -12.17, -7.5%) after the news that Target will have to slash prices to get rid of excess inventory. 

Separately, natural gas futures are down 0.7% to $9.28/mmbtu in pre-market action after surging to nearly $10.00/mmbtu yesterday.
