S&P 500 constituents Moderna (MRNA 151.17, +10.83, +7.72%), Fortinet (FTNT 321.73, +17.44, +5.73%), and Penn Natl Gaming (PENN 38.00, +1.45, +3.97%) pepper the top of today's action. Citigroup gave favorable commentary on FTNT, and PENN caught a Morgan Stanley upgrade to Overweight.
Meanwhile, Illinois-based industrial machinery giant Deere (DE 380.66, -22.91, -5.68%) is one of today's worst performers after BofA downgraded the stock to a Neutral from a Buy as they feel good news may already be priced in.
