Snowflake up 10% amid Goldman upgrade
Dow +396.83 at 34418.28, Nasdaq +327.75 at 13452.77, S&P +67.41 at 4179.91

[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 is trading at session highs with a 1.6% gain. There is likely a fear of missing out that is contributing to the dip-buying efforts.

Reviewing some of today's notable analyst recommendations, Snowflake (SNOW 208.06, +19.81, +10.5%) was upgraded to Buy from Neutral at Goldman, General Electric (GE 13.27,+0.31, +2.4%) was resumed with a Buy rating at Citigroup, and Wedbush removed Lyft (LYFT 50.04, +4.02, +8.7%) from its Best Ideas List.

SNOW might be benefiting from the bullish analyst call, but LYFT is up 9% despite being removed from Wedbush's Best Ideas List, suggesting that these stocks are just riding the dip-buying wave.

Separately, President Biden will receive a counterproposal on infrastructure from Republicans on Tuesday, according to CNBC.
