The S&P 500 finished Wednesday slightly lower, ending its four-session winning streak with an uneventful, range-bound performance. The benchmark index lost less than 0.1%, remaining within 0.5% of its January 26 record high. The Nasdaq ticked higher, adding 0.1%, while the Dow shed 0.2%.

  • Crude oil inventories had a draw of 1.4 mln barrels
  • Gasoline Inventories has a build of 2.9 mln barrels
  • Distillate Inventories has a build of 1.2 mln barrels
  • U.S. crude oil production fell again week-over-week, declining another 100,000 barrels per day (bpd) to 10.8 mln (bpd), which is notable
