Gold futures settled $4.90 higher (+0.3%) to $1,951.70/oz, earning a +3.8% weekly advance, to cap off its best weekly move since July; this was juxtaposed against a falling dollar which in the midst of its worst weekly declines since March.
The U.S. Dollar Index slips about -0.3% to $92.24.
