Treasuries trade in narrow range
Quiet on Bond Front
- A pretty quiet trade today through the cash session, with participation lighter due to Yom Kippur.
- Treasury yields are near their highs for the day, but because they gained enough ground in the overnight trade when oil prices were sliding, they still look mostly better than they did at Friday's settlement levels.
- Major equity indices, meanwhile, are at their highs for the cash session, with mega-cap stocks powering the advance.
- Oil prices are near their lows for the day. WTI crude futures -4.6% to $95.69/bbl.
- Yield check:
- 2-yr: +1 bp to 4.75%
- 3-yr: -1 bp to 4.82%
- 5-yr: -2 bps to 4.84%
- 10-yr: -3 bps to 4.97%
- 30-yr: -3 bps to 5.30%
