  • U.S. Treasuries trade on their highs after a steady rise off their opening levels. Today's rebound has been paced by shorter tenors, though the continued buying recently lifted the long bond into positive territory about 90 minutes ago. The 30-yr bond edged to a fresh high in immediate reaction to today's $22 bln 30-yr bond reopening, which made for a strong finish to this week's stellar note and bond offering slate. Today's sale drew a high yield of 5.058%, which stopped through the when-issued yield by 0.3 basis points while the bid-to-cover ratio (2.44x vs 2.38x average) and indirect takedown (77.7% vs 64.4% average) were comfortably above average.
