  • Longer-dated Treasuries hover just below their highs that were reached during the past hour while shorter tenors trade a bit closer to their starting levels, though they are still hanging onto today's gains. The past few minutes have seen some selling even though the U.S. Treasury completed this week's excellent note and bond auction slate with a $22 bln 30-yr bond reopening that was right on the screws. The bid-to-cover ratio (2.38x) was a touch below average (2.41x), while indirect takedown (62.0%) also missed the 12-auction average (64.7%), but a strong direct bid (28.0%) left primary dealers with just 10.0% of the issue, which was the smallest share since mid-2023.
