Computer Sciences -- one good contact is shorting it here ahead of
earnings (CSC) 47.09 +0.45 : We know of one contact who has shorted
Computer Sciences
ahead of the close... this particular contact has been pretty good with short
calls in the past. We have called around a bit, and some of the concerns we've
been hearing about CSC from sell-side guys is a general lack of catalysts to
the story, some market share worries, esp. when it comes to rival EDS
(EDS), and the co being seen as a laggard in business process outsourcing.
We don't feel strongly enough to make a call on CSC's quarter either way here,
but thought it might be worth passing on the info, in the event that it confirms
what some of you may have been hearing on the name.
Fund Flow -- Hornbeck Offshore: getting feedback that fast money keeping
an eye on HOS here as the tanker stock edges to new 52-wk high (HOS) 29.67 +0.67
: Should be careful with a name like this, as you can be pretty certain that
if stock doesn't breakout, the fast money will be moving to the side in a hurry.
Fact that hedge funds are looking at this one makes it keeping on the radar, you
should just know the risks if considering of doing anything with the stock
today.
