  • Clearing the Cache in Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0+

    Please note: we recommend that you upgrade your Internet Explorer browser to the latest version provided by Microsoft to get best functionality that Briefing.com has to offer.

    To clear the cache in Internet Explorer 5.0+, follow the instructions below:

    1. Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.

    2. Select the General tab from the Internet Options dialog box.

    3. Click Delete Files from the Temporary Internet files section.

    4. A confirmation dialog box will appear. Check the box next to "Delete all offline content" then confirm your selection by pressing OK.

    5. Click Settings in the Temporary Internet files section.

    6. Ensure the Every visit to the page option is checked. Click OK.

    7. Press OK to exit the Internet Options dialog box.

    Your cache should now be cleared. You should always receive the latest updates each time you visit a page at Briefing.com.


    Upgrade your browser

    • Although Briefing.com makes no specific system upgrade suggestions, we recommend that everyone visit the Microsoft Update site on a regular schedule.
    • Click on the link above, or within Internet Explorer, select Tools > Windows Update or Help > Windows Update (IE 4.0).
