America Online Specific Issues
Clearing your AOL cache and cookies often resolves most issues
you may be encountering with your AOL browser. Clearing cookies is
optional, but recommended. The instructions for clearing cache and
cookies are dependent on your browser. Please use your browser's
help menu and look for 'cache', and 'cookies'.
Be aware that if you are using any type of Internet Security or Firewall
software there is the possibility that cookies will be blocked. If cookies are
blocked the Briefing.com service may be impacted.
Please see the the help files on
Firewalls or
Pop-Up Blockers.
We recommend using Microsoft Internet Explorer to access Briefing.com once
you are connected to the Internet by AOL. Simply click on the Internet
Explorer icon on your desktop and enter www.briefing.com in the address bar.
Accessing Briefing.com in this way does not force you to close any other
windows, or browsers. The Internet Explorer session is just another open window,
just like the AOL window. PC users can use the keyboard combination of "Alt +
Tab" to switch between open windows very quickly. Using Internet Explorer will
not effect your AOL connection in any way. You can have both AOL and IE open at
the same time.
