Pop-Up Blocker
- In the main window, under Norton AntiSpam, click Status
and Settings.
- In the system status pane, double-click Pop-up Blocking. Click on
the Configure button located under the Turn Off button.
- Click on Allowed List, and then click on Add button.
- With the new screen, change the drop down menu from Email to
Domain.
- Enter a description of the site and type in www.briefing.com, and
click OK to exit the pop-up blocker screen.
Add Briefing.com as a "Trusted Site"
- In the main window, double-click Status and Settings.
- Click on Firewall and then click on Configure.
- In the Personal Firewall window, click on the Networking
tab.
- Click on Trusted Sites and then click on the Add button.
- Please retain the first option Individually.
- At the Below Address column, please enter www.briefing.com
and then click on OK to add the site.
- Keep the firewall level at medium.
- Click OK to exit the firewall option.
Change the Cookie Blocking Setting
- In the main window, double-click Privacy Control.
- In the privacy control settings for the drop-down list, select the
account you want to change.
- Click Custom Level.
- Select the Cookie Blocking settings you desire:
High = Blocks all Cookies
Medium = Alerts you each time that a cookie is encountered.
None = Allows cookies
- Click on OK.
Create a List of Permitted Websites
- In the main window, double-click Parental Control.
- In the Parental Control drop down list, select the account you want to
change.
- Click Sites and then click Specify Permitted Sites.
- Click Add to create a new entry in the list.
- In the Add Website to Permitted List window, type the URL (www.briefing.com)
of the website you want to add.
- Click OK.
