New York, NY, November 9, 1998 - Intuit, the leading provider of personal and business finance software, today announced a relationship with Garban Information Systems (www.garvininfo.com) and Briefing.com (www.briefing.com). As part of this relationship, Garban Information Systems (GIS), the market source for fixed income, money market, and foreign exchange information and Briefing.com, the leading Internet provider of live market analysis for U.S. Bond, U.S. Stock, and world FX market participants, will supply intra-daily market pricing and analysis to the new Bonds section for Intuit's leading finance site Quicken.com (www.quicken.com).

GIS supplies Quicken.com with indications of all "on the run" US Treasuries, selected Mortgage-Backed securities, selected Money Market instruments, and leading world FX rates. Prices for these markets are updated three times throughout the trading day. In addition, Briefing.com supplies its industry leading Bond Ticker commentary and Economic Calendar to the site, which is also updated three times throughout each trading day.

Quicken.com, through its relationships with America Online and Excite, is also providing this same information through AOL.COM's Personal Finance Web Center, the Excite Money & Investing Channel, and the WebCrawler Money & Investing Channel. Combined, these four sites reached in excess of 39 million unique visitors during the month of April 1998 (RelevantKnowledge).

"The ability to deliver Web based pricing from leading brokers around the world truly allows private investors to now benefit from what was only available to professional fixed-income and FX traders just a few years ago", said Michael W. Mayhew, President of Garban Information Systems, Americas.

"Our growing relationship with Quicken.com and GIS allows us to now aggregate our industry standard intra-daily U.S. bond market analysis with the best market pricing and deliver them through leading Internet portal sites", says David Beasley, VP Marketing for Briefing.com.
