Apple (AAPL 204.19) will start selling its popular iPhone in South Korea Saturday after government restrictions were recently lifted.
The South Korean handset market, about 47 million strong according to the Associated Press, is dominated by Samsung and LG Electronics. The two companies account for over 80% of the mobile phone market in South Korea.
Following the announcement of the availability of the iPhone in South Korea, Samsung cut the price of its most advanced and expensive phone.
